: Holiday Closures 2024, by Mrs Dawson
Welcome to the Trinity Park Pre-School Nursery Website!
The History of Trinity Park
Trinity Park opened in the year 2002 by Mrs Karen Dawson. It was situated in a mobile classroom in Magheralin, offering playgroup places to the children who lived in Magheralin village and the surrounding area. For three years Mrs Karen Dawson continuously applied for PEAG places. In the academic school year of 2005-2006 she was granted 8 PEAG places for her nursery. Today, Trinity Park provides 24 PEAG places. In the year 2011 Trinity Park moved to a purpose-built facility by Mrs Dawson on the Cottage Road in Dollingstown. It currently provides 26 Pre-Pre-School Places (Paid) and 24 PEAG places (Government Funded). We also operate a Breakfast club and After-School club. In January 2016, an extension was added to Trinity Park meaning that we are now able to offer full day-care for babies and toddlers.
About Us
A child’s first step into nursery is also a first step to independence and we strive to provide the children in our care with the best resources, environments, and learning support to allow them to discover their individuality and achieve their full potential. Our primary aim is to provide a warm, safe, nurturing atmosphere, as we strongly believe children thrive independently whilst learning and developing through play and exploration. We want your children to develop a long-lasting love of learning by playing, discovering and experimenting. Each individual child is encouraged to experience success - not failure - in all that they do. Supporting them in everything they need to be content, confident, and curious.
The Nursery curriculum is delivered in a stimulating environment whereby a wide range of resources and experiences are on offer to deliver the six key areas of development:
1) Language Development
2) Early Mathematical Experiences
3) Physical Development
4) The World Around Us
5) The Arts
6) Personal, Social & Emotional Development
